Bridgette In a Nutshell

My expertise lies in social media strategy, technology and health literacy. Working as a freelance health communication consultant, I use my knowledge to help guide clients’ social presence strategy. Former roles have also given me experience in social science research and communication.
 
As a recent addition to the Pulse + Signal team, I helped to launch the Pulse + Signal Job Board and am creating content on the blog and social networks. 

I hold a B.S. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned the title of Registered Dietitian after grueling internships and exams! After working several years in the field of nutrition, I went back and obtained a M.A. in Health Communication from Emerson College (Boston). 

Offline, dancing and yoga, as well as hiking, biking, boating, and other outdoor activities, are a part of my regular routine. Taking advantage of the rich cultural and arts scene in the Boston area, you may also find me at local theater, live music, and other such events.
